勉強ＬＯＧ
Apparently what little attention span I usually have is shot to hell today so I need short breaks away from the sea of Japanese textbooks and handouts I seem to be drowning in.
& I may be lazy, but having incompetent teachers? Does not help when it's exam time.
& 彼は昼は紳士にして夜は殺人鬼である ＝＞ Wow, my workbook actually does have its moments. (During the day he's a gentleman, but at night he's a ... devilish murderer / killing freak / murdering demon / I wish he was a real demon / needs more rape glasses / back to studying.
& Seriously though, what am I doing with this? Here? I like the idea of combining fandom and academia, and the process of sifting through all the material, and hell, even conducting research, but goddamn if I don't want to set fire to the whole business of still being in school.
& I'm a close reader, we know this. I can write you a 15-pager on a 10 line poem, but will want to die if you want much of anything else, unless it's closely related to my outside interests. Why am I still planning on going to grad school, again? Oh right, because I've been guilt-tripped and brainwashed into it and now I actually think I maybe want to go! Gah.
& I think I just like complaining, and am scared and worried about figuring out my art history paper tonight. Nothing of the above comes together in a non-contradictory fashion.
& Best. Thing. Ever. Imajin anime icons! God I need to finish Den-O. I watched all of the Imajin anime 3/4 through the actual season, and never went back to it. Momo and Deneb make my life.
& Winamp just spat Koi no Dance Site and then Final Countdown out at me. How can I possibly sit around studying under these circumstances! In possession of a Morning Musume upload because... yesterday Hayden and I were geeking out over it. ffff and now Allstars' Bump in the Night. these things should not be on my playlist

& Humanisation of monsters and demons esp oni and tengu in the Edo period y/y? That might work, though it is I expect exceedingly overdone.
