I was doing a great job of updating weekly, but it only last for 2 weeks. LOL! Well, I guess I will take a break from reading "The Corporate Culture Survival Guide" ...ajdals;d it's been almost a month since I updated. I can't remember that far back as to what I've done!! Let's see if I can remember. Well, the weekend of November 26-28 I think was a chill weekend. I stayed in on the 26th. On the 27th I think that was the day I met up with Lucy and her friend from London. We did the Batobus tour on the Seine..took lots of pictures :) then we had a 3 course meal at an amazing fondue restaurant!!! SO YUMMY!!!! That evening I ATTEMPTED to go out. We went to Club Ozu and we waited in the FREEZING COLD for about 30-45 minutes. Only to get told the club was full and they weren't letting people in unless they had a reservation for a table. I swear, f*ing Parisian clubs are insane. You really have to be well dressed or have lots of money to get in. We ended up going to a bar on the champs elysees..but they kicked us out at like 2 [literally 20 minutes after we got there]. The 28th was another chill day.
Let's see then..the weekend of December 3-5. Hmm, what did I do? Well, that was the week it was freezing so now I remember :) on the 2nd I went to Mix Club for Erasmus night! Talk about funnnnn :) I got home at 5am and was EXHAUSTED AND FREEZING! I don't know what I did on the 3rd though. I know on the 4th I went to Chateau Versailles and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT!!! I want to live there. I can't believe people used to live there. I would've dieddddd. However, it was freezing and snowing so we couldn't go out into the garden or the other chateaus (such as Marie Antoinette's). That night I went to dinner with Peter, Olga, and their friend [Julia was her name I think]. We went to Bouche B and it was so amazing! I LOVED IT! I spent too much money though :) 40€ but I got a lot to eat: 2 glasses of wine, a bruschetta, steak with potatoes, and dessert! Then on the 5th Olga and I attempted to go to the Louvre because it was free all day. Butttt the line was like 2 hours long so we decided to wait. We found out it's free for students of Paris so we can go any day.
Last week/weekend was so much fun! It was the last week of class. Last Tuesday, the 7th, I saw KE$HA in concert with Olivia! She was soooo amazing but she only played for like an hour and fifteen minutes. But she was so amazing. Check out my facebook for pictures and videos. The the 8th I had a HUGE presentation for Entrepreneurship. It went very well though :) then on the 9th I went and saw a premier of BURLESQUE with Olga. Great movie but predictable. But Christina Aguilera and Cher did their thang!! It also turned out to be some huge "Gay-Friendly" night which was unexpected but hilarious! Then on the 10th I went to Pythagore and had champagne/beer/pizza/maltesers cake and watched Mean Girls with Noemi, Pauline, Laura, and Toon! Then on the 11th I went and saw "How to be Parisian in One Hour" with Noemi, Pauline, and Toon. It was hilarious but they made fun of Americans more than Parisians, LOL! But whatever, I'm used to it now. On the 12th I watched movies all day until I had to go pick up Sophie from Orly :) so I picked her up, we dropped her stuff off at her hotel, had dinner, and walked the champs elysees/christmas market.
And well that leads to yesterday/today. All I've been doing is studying for finals. I have an exam tomorrow from 9am-12pm, one Thursday from 12pm-3pm, and two on Friday...one from 11:30pm-2:30pm and then 6:30pm-8pm. I don't know why the school choose Friday EVENING to have the French exams for all of us Erasmus but whatever.
I have to go pick up my deposit check from the host family agency :) I'm sure I will be writing in here at least once more..talking about the end of my stay here in Paris and how depressed I am!
à tout! tschüs!
