Long story short, ruffler attachment. Said ruffler only fits one machine, said machine is from 1936. Said machine was my steady for so long and has almost been replaced by a new machine. To smite me it up and quits right when I was to ruffle 49 yards of tulle. Yes, 49. Le bomb de tulle!
So first things first, tomorrow morning; oil, screws, coffee and a good deal of patience. Seems as though the whole machine threw a fit and there are some threads lurking behind the hook assembly. Note: large coffee.
