I have all of these ideas. They fly through my brain at a breakneck pace, circling around my perceptions of the world, trying to find a place to light. Ideas about love, equality, gender, sex, relationships, peace, an end to war, politics, conquering fear, releasing all of our inherent power to effect the world for the better

No, I am not taking the standard approach of getting involved in politics, or actively protesting against it. I am, however, shining a light on the problems, pointing them out to other, and encouraging others to break free of those controls.
I'll leave you with this thought, from Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, in the chapter On Freedom
"If it is an unjust law you would abolish, that law was written with your own hand upon your own forehead.
You cannot erase it by burning your law books nor by washing the foreheads of your judges, though you pour the sea upon them.
