Let me set up a scene for you, a boss ready to go home, and an overeager employee(obviously neither is me, i'm just observing). They seem to be talking about some kind of a problem and the boss(todd) badly wants to leave to go home, while the over-eager employee(oee... acronym again, i'm not sure of his name) is determined to keep talking to him as long as he can. Then i hear this tidbit of the conversation and luckily have the note pad open to jot it down verbatim.
"...well, we'll cross that bridge when, you know..."-todd
"you wanna cross it tommorow?"-oee
"well, i dont know, crossing it might be more complicated then it seems"-todd
"yeah, but i think we'll be able to do it in one day"-oee
(this is where i almost screamed "just make sure to pack a lunch and you'll be ok")
...silence...
"yeah.... we'll discuss that tommorow"-todd
... they said a couple more things but i couldn’t keep up because it took a lot of effort to control my giggling. Just unbelievable stuff.
