I feel like writing in this thing. But I suppose I don't exactly have much to say.
My Jane Austen class is the most amazing thing ever, albeit it is a bit intense. Sense and Sensibility in a week? Oh yeah! At least it's good stuff. Plus I actually find the teacher respectable. She seems to know her stuff, unlike most graduate assistant professors.
My Gender and Architecture class is interesting. It's got me thinking about a lot of things I probably would never have considered otherwise. It's a bit abstruse sometimes, what with all the Foucault musings... but certainly it is something to keep one interested and thinking. Although the gorgeous professor, with his equally alluring accent, can be a tad distracting at times. This is the second history of architecture class I've taken. Both professors of said classes are exceedingly beautiful.
Note to self and others: Spend more time in the History of Architecture department.
Sociology is pretty mind numbing. I mean, I suppose it serves me right for taking two upper-level soc courses before I decided to take the 100 level.
Modern Art seems like it's basically going to be the same as the other modern art class I took this time last year.
This is good because it means it should be relatively easy as it will mostly be review.
This is bad because many other people have also taken the class before and strive to demonstrate that fact as often as possible by referencing artists we have yet to discuss, using jargon we have yet to cover, and just generally attempting to show off as much as they possibly can. And this gets tired QUICKLY.
Other than that... I suppose that's all. Labs are same old, same old. I may be getting paid this semester. Yay for me. The labs are being audited this semester which is kind of nerve wracking. I have a new suitemate because one transfered to NYU. This new girl is pretty nice. But I am bitter that I am not at NYU. Meh. Oh wellsies.
