awesome weekend
well, i had an awesome weekend in LA. i got to stay with my cousin and her husband and their two kids, chad, 14, and allan, 12. the reason for going was to talk to an ex-military man, john, for quite a while on saturday, which was super informative and gave me a lot of food for thought. however, i'd say that i got even more out of the weekend from hanging out with my relatives. i saw chad and allan last christmas very briefly, but before that it had been quite a few years since i saw them last. damn, how they've grown up! they've both turned into pretty awesome guys. me and allan really clicked. it was actually kind of hard getting back on the plane and coming home, i really miss michelle, big allan (her husband), chad and little allan. a lot. hopefully i'll be able to go back down soemtime soon and stay for longer :/
