Summer of Arrested Development
Just Lost a whole friqen entry....
(Damnit!)
Hi Ya'll
I made a wish about a year ago,
I just wanted a few months off to write and finish these two projects that won't allow themselves to
slip away...and New Years I got my wish...
I somehow managed to become a 34 year old slacker and I'm not even ashamed of it.
Just wanted to extend a quick greeting to the journalists out there.
hope all is well.
Had a wacky summer including a host of adventures and misdeeds, blown chances and misplaced faiths...
a lot of music, hot nights, one visit all the way home, and some homemade wine and pickles, occasionally working utilities, odd jobs, binge drinking and poor basic sanitary conditions, anything for art-photo shoots, a rekindled love affair with the written word, more movies than anybody, Dogs, punk rock renters, dead computers, love hate relationships with a beautiful dog and some squirrels, old friends, betrayals and benefits, thieves and saints, Ela, improved dj-ing, new cars, impounded new cars, Jordis,Ahn-Yang Buster and Lucille///my own version of never-nuding...a series of extended wednesdays...the return of my mentors in slack and iniquity....and so much more.
It's a bit blurry and won't hold up to too much scrutiny but it's been an experience I can't say I've hated...and though I can see the finish line and whatever that may entail...and that's way okay.
It deserved a little highlighting all the same.
Just Smile and Keep making ice folks...it works.
