Because I too know how frightening it is to wake up all alone in a strange world with wings on your back.

Perhaps that's true. Even so, I'd like to believe that humans are capable of just as much good as they are evil. It is only fair after I was given such a second chance myself.

Good? Where in that pestilent world was there ever any good? No good was ever shown to Martel and me.
