A quickie?
Okay I will update quickly. Everything is going pretty well for me. School is going pretty good. My observation on Tuesday went well. I had all Satisfactory's. Which was really nice. Now just to get them a little higher. I am teaching by myself now. It's actually not that hard. I'm getting used to it. And I'm not as tired anymore. I just have to learn how to work this kids. I strongly feel that a lot of it is a game trying to figure out what works for each kid. What makes them mad, what keeps them calm, what they like and dislike, what are their strengths and weaknesses. It's all a learning game. Once you have all of them set and you know them... it's not so bad. :-) I'm still working on the school staff though. LOL... oh well. I know my kids! Oh and I KINDA got offered a job yesterday. This sub was in my room, and he was basically just sitting and watching me the whole day. Well at lunch I was in the room sorting through some stuff and he told me that hes only subing becuase hes new to Jacksonville, and hes normally a principal. He told me that as a new teacher only in my fifth week that I am definitly going to be a great teacher. He told me that he would definitly hire me if I were at one of his schools. Awesome! So Teri isn't so bad eh? Anyways... what else. I have a date Saturday. I'm excited one minute about it, then non caring the next. I think I'm too the point where I just don't care waht happens. GOd I have changed sooooo much in the last two months. Anyways... he wants to go to dinner and a movie. He's so funny becuase it took him like 30 minutes to figure out what we were going to do. I guess you had to be there but it was pretty funny. Anyways... he's still an idiot. EH... he will learn. Other than that though I don't have ANY plans for the weekend. Kinda depressing. Hopefully Joe will be up to something tonight and I'll join in on that fun. If not I guess I can give Carole a call. Eh... whatever.. maybe I'll just sit at home and watch a movie and go to bed early. That actually sounds appealing. LOL... Well anyways... I should get going. I have this intern meeting in Clay county I need to get to. Damn A Schools. I like my Title 1 D school thank you very much. Lator gators!
