When I grow up I want to be a castle....

I am now approaching that all too important time of my college career in which I have to declare a major, thus setting in stone the course of the next two and a half years. I'm planning on declaring a major in Critical Social Thought (which is interdisciplinary! w00t!) and i have come across a very annoying road block.

Most majors make you pick an advisor, fill out a little form, and then presto! you're on your road to graduation and inevitable unemployment. CST, however, requires that you write a proposal on a "Question or problem" on which you will focus your studies.

My problem: I don't have a question. I can't find an advisor until I at least have an idea of what I want my question to be....

I cry.

So I want input from whoever is reading this post. What should I focus on? I know that I am interested in the intersection of identity, identity politics/political identity, urban diversity and how it can affect race/class/gender theory... and other stuff... blah >_<
