(no subject)
so yesterday the scariest thing in my whole entire happened, something i always feared would happen.
i started softball and now i am on the womens league (18 and older) so if you are ever bored come down to dawnwood fields on sundays, we play double headers at 4 and 6.
we played the same team both times and crushed them. the second game i started pitching. in the fourth inning jen (chelsi's friends from pathmark..the catcher, most people will know who she is by that) comes up to plate. now this girl can crush a ball and you don't know how hard she can hit it until you see it for yourself. i think she had like two strikes on her or something like that. she hits a line drive..right into my forehead.
that was probably the scariest moment in my life. i imediatly shut my eyes and walked around in a circle trying to calm down but i started to cry so bad. it hurt so bad.
since i iced it right away the only way you can really see the knot on my head is if you know i got hit. but it sure does hurt when i touch it. the chiropractor told me i didnt get a concussion but i might have whiplash from it. i just thank god it wasn't worse.
and than today my brother got 2nd degree burns on his hand at work.
and a couple of weeks ago my sister got into a pretty serious car accident that she is still recovering from..so we are all a wonderful injured family.
