in memoriam
in memory of my trip to katie's house last week, i decided to go starbucks then get dinner at wholefoods today...it was a shitty rainy day so i forgot that there would be no parking at starbucks on wayland...but there was one spot in the parking lot just for me, i got my venti cafe mocha then went to whole foods for dinner, i was tempted by the free samples but headed straight for the salad bar instead...so tonite will consist of more work for school, grading lots of papers...earlier today finished my packet b/c im so far behind and mailed it out, our lacrosse game was cancelled b/c of the weather (bullshit, we should have played in the rain) so i had to called every kid on my team and tell them, that was only a waste of 45 minutes...went to borders and picked up books i had ordered that finally came in before heading for starbucks...last nite i chaperoned the fresh/soph semi-formal at la salle...quite interesting...the dj was playing some interesting (inappropriate) videos on the big screen and the deans had to tell him to stop, so then they turned a video camera on from the crowd on the big screen and id say it wasnt much better with high school kids grinding all over the dance floor, this one girl kept bending over in front of the camera and her dress kept coming up so everyone could see it on the big screen, one of the teachers pulled her off the dance floor...then they paid us $25 w/o telling us before hand, so it was worth it...
