get drunk at la salle right after school
today was the last day of school before the christmas vacation...it was only a half day, plus the students had an assembly for half of that half day...i decided to show a movie during my three classes, so we watched the first half hour of 'elf' in my sophmore classes and one of my freshman classes. they were wicked excited, as was i b/c i had just seen it the nite before...it was awesome, you were right katie...one of my classes gave me a christmas card signed by everyone in the class, one of my students gave me a gift card to starbucks and another gave me a mug w/ candy in it, i thought that was cool...
then went to the faculty pre-christmas party at the brothers' house at la salle...free booze and cheese and crackers type stuff...i had one bass at noon and figured that was enough since i had to work at the library...one of the italian teachers came over to me and said, "im sooo drunk right now! (jokingly)" i laughed my ass off. one english teacher half laughed and ran in the other direction...i was actually starting to get a buzz off the one beer since i hadnt eaten all day...i went home and took a nap and now im at the library doing nothing, reading doctor zhivago...
