lots to think about..
to start out with:
My dad is in Albania (yes, again) and he's going to be gone for a total of 3 weeks. It's usually no big deal, because we have my brother's babysitter to care for him, and I can care for myself. My mom, however, hasn't been the healthiest lately, and I'm starting to dread that there may be something wrong that we're not seeing.. and usually when she feels sick for more than a week, it's a big problem that needs intense care (for example, major surgery or whatnot.) I really really hope it's nothing to worry about, so please pray for her :/
On a different subject:
The interest drum major meeting was today. Ever since the beginning of band camp, I had considered maybe trying out for a) experience, and b) hopes that maybe i would be drum major in the future. I never seriously thought about it, it was just something that i thought i could work for later. Well, after the meeting, I decided that I'm trying out this year for experience, but next year (and the next) im going to seriously try out for it. I know a lot of you find it odd that i love marching band so much (coughSTEPHENcough :p,) but i really do. i enjoy every little aspect about it, and what better way to finish off my high school years than by being in charge of the band during marching season?
