I miss my chiropractor...

He was integrated into a local chiropractic office about a year or so after I started going there. Several interns had come and gone, but this one was an experienced professional, new to the scene and added to the staff as an independent - just using the space. I was handed off to him one lovely morning and immediately noticed something different about the way he did adjustments.

He was standing next to me, I was laying face down on the table… and before he touched me I could very clearly feel energy running along my spine. Then he touched me and proceeded to assess my needs and adjust me.

A week or so later I had the opportunity to witness him at work with another client/patient. Then I knew for sure that what I had 'felt' was indeed, exactly as I had sensed it. I watched him close his eyes, tip his head back only a fraction, and then hover his hands, palms down, over the spine of his client/patient. He started in the middle, and slowly moved them outward until he had reached the skull and tailbone.

I am the only client/patient he has ever worked with, who was also a healer/energy worker. I knew exactly what the hell he was up to, and I confronted him on it the next moment I had to speak to him privately. I told him how good he was, and how impressed I was with his work. He blushed… he looked good in ties too… ok, sensing a pattern here (I crushed on him instantly).

*sigh* I miss him so much.

He's still there, but changes in employment, insurance and expenses have made it impossible for me to retain myself as a client/patient.

The facility is amazing too. They use the Koren Specific Technique. My absolutely favorite move was the Sphenoid Adjustment. It has the handy knack of regulating emotions… which in my case, can lead to all kinds of other benefits. When I was seeing him, I slept better, ate better, and I didn't have these fucking headaches that lasted FOREVER!

*sigh again* So, yesterday I had body aches and a headache that lasted all day (slept poorly / bad positioning). Finally at my last break of the day, I cracked and bought a chocolate bar just to get me through the rest of the business day.

Seriously… my headache went away after I ate the chocolate. WTF!?!?!

When I got home I asked the Beloved One, who is well versed in these things, and had it confirmed by him that the combination of caffeine and sugars in chocolate can ease headache pain.

So… okay… things that are BAD for me… help me become pain free, and actually energized for a few hours.

*sigh again sigh* I'm munching on another chocolate bar now… this is annoying.

I miss my chiropractor.

health, sick
