today was school and thats about it. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great.
I woke up at 12:20 somehow and had to be at class at 12:30.
My ass was sitting in a chair by 12:28...yeah, i know, great. I've never gotten dressed so fast and I also have never ridden on bike tires as low on air as mine, but I had to do it. It would have taken me at least 15 minutes to walk. I am buying an air pump tomorrow, pumping my tires, and then taking it back.
Yeah, its probably worth the 8$ investment as i will need it in the future but bfd i'm not made of money.
And that is why i'm applying at the new news stand they've got going on in the UV dorms tomorrow. Its like 4 minutes from my apt and completely the most awesome, convenient, best way to space out and get paid for it job i could have dreamed of. I was thinkin' about a student assistant job but all the fliers say "customer service and telephone experience wanted" and that just seems like too much work for me. No, a job ringing up red bulls and magazines would not be out of the ordinary for me at all, and i would gladly take it.
i think political science will be a very boring class.
world civ looks like its going to be awesome. there are 250 people in that class! and because of this there will be no essays as it would take him forever to grade all those, AND, on top of that, the guy doesn't "believe" in tests! there aren't any exams, not even a final. Only quizzes and assignments, all submitted online. What a perfect thing this world can be sometimes.
I have a new hobby of writing down all of my observations of goings on in the pocket notebook i received for christmas. Today I really used it because there are quite a few annoying people here at kennesaw state. So here's what i jotted down today:
- If i can make it through life without someone merely looking at me and immediately thinking "what an asshole" i will consider life somewhat of a success. I cannot say the soul beside me in the bandanna won this life challenge
-If you are in a college course and you're still writing your name in bubble letters during lecture you have a very limited mind
-Am i being very judgemental when i say the girl beside me looks like a rude slut? Not only are her legs spread to the maximum level of possible apartness but she also has her feet on the chair in front of her, actually touching the poor gentleman's back. I am extremely annoyed by just watching this and I'm not even the one being used as a foot rest.
-If anything, being on campus is at least a familiar feeling. It is somewhat comforting being around all of these people you don't even know until they start to annoy me. It really isn't so bad being here if the weather is right. It smells wonderful out and the sun is already making its decent into evening at 4 in the afternoon. The temperature, however, doesn't match the sun's january moods and I can thank the slight Georgia breeze for that. It is not shrill and assuming of the supposed season, but beautiful and comfortable. I could live in a perpetual state of Autumn, let the dry dying leaves be my snow.
