042. TEN people you would die for and why.
1. Sammy. As much as he can't stand what I did, I'd do it all over again. World's a better place with Sam in it and it needs him a lot more than it needs me. Can't help if he doesn't get that.
2. Dad. I'd have stayed in that coma, let death take me to save him but the stubborn bastard wouldn't let that happen. And I get it now, more than I could have before. I do, but I still can't forgive him. Probably why I don't expect Sammy to forgive me.
3. Cassie. She's somebody I loved. I don't think more explanation is needed.
4. Mom. I was too young but I'd do everything I could to save her. She saved Sammy and Me after death. There's nothing in the world like family.
5. Bobby. I owe him a lot. Just like Dad does.
6. Ellen. See above.
7. Pastor Jim. Wish we could have saved him.
8. Everyone he tries to save. It's the job. You put your life on the line to save the innocent. Even if they aren't totally innocent. Nobody deserves what evil does to them.
9. Jo. The kid's got spunk but one day she's going to get herself killed. Maybe I think I owe her for the stuff with our fathers. Look at that, I got touchy feely.
