A sad day in the neighborhood
With the discovery of our caterpillar friends on our Spanish Broom, I had a terrifying dream last night. I dreamt I was at school and there were caterpillars climbing on the walls and these kids were taking them off and stomping on them.
Well... that happened today. There is a Spanish Broom at my school and there were a bunch of caterpillars and kids were taking them off, not necessarily to be mean although some were, but they would drop them and then the caterpillars would get squished. I saved a few and put them back in the plant, but some of the others didn't make it. :(

My wonderful hubby bought me a live No Doubt concert from their Tragic Kingdom tour. Yay!

Guess who came to my school today!! FIREMEN!! They came and spoke to the kindergarteners about fire safety. They were no Joaquin Phoenix in Ladder 49, but they weren't too shabby either.
