shawty update
so life lately has been different. which is something i definatly needed. long time coming...i just had a weeks vacation which i really needed. i got to spend some good private quality time with alyssa, as well as just keeping busy with her family. alyssa and i ended up going to pittsburgh PA to visit the zoo/aquarium. we just went for a day so we got up and left at 7am which felt really good once we got going. it was nice to watch the sun come up as we drove. i volunteered to babysit lauras boyfriends girl, Kaitlyn for a day:
i have alot of fun with her, and she seems to be the first kid in history that prefers me over alyssa...actually the first kid to prefer me over anything...we ended up going to 3 indoor playgrounds, including Kalahari with 2 of alyssas nieces, it was a draining day but it felt good..i felt alive and purposful
lets see....oooh, im not even going to try to hide this because i dont want to be one of them ladies who has to dye their hair every 2 weeks to avoid getting "roots", but i did freak out and rip it out, my GREY hair that is....thanks allen genes.
i went to a casino for the first time, up in detroit. that was fun. Greektown they call it...alyssa and i went for a walk to the general motors building and omg surrrlesly inside was fucking amazing. huge, grand, spectacular. it was just a cool experience. and then we had mcdonalds in the food court. :D thats what i love about us, even in the most awesome places we are who we are, we dont pretend by eating at a 5 star resturaunt.
and this past friday i started training for my new position as service director. so far so good, nothing seems too hard or stressful, and with annette training me, i dont think ill really have to worry about it becoming so. the only thing that sucks is that i have to work my previously reserved day off mondays. which means getting out to the horse barn is going to be difficult for a while until alyssa and i get our new scheduals situated.
yes, the horse barn. thanks to alyssas cousin, ive managed to get my ghettobooty up on a horse, an animal that scares the shit out of me because of its massive size and power. im mostly a tagalong with alyssa. while she rides i play wiht the kittens, but more times than not, i end the night by taking a few laps around the barn, with the last time me being on my own. wow...steering a horse is nothing like steering a car, or a bike, or those remote control boats they have in ponds sometimes.
