i take great pride in the fact that i have done my laundry 99% successfully alone since i was eleven years old. my mom decided that once i could reach the dials, there was no excuse for me not doing my own laundry. so after a few mishaps and causualties and the occasional sock that is sacrificed to the laundry gods, i've never had such a blunder.

so HOW may i ask you does a load of regular laundry that you've done a hundred times turn all your bra's grey? every last one of them. they werent even white. none of my white clothes turned grey except the lace on the sleeve of a shirt, but the lace collar of the exact same material stayed white? and how does the white stripes on the top of a bathing suit turn grey but not the stripes of the bottom of the bathing suit which remained a very crisp clean white? same load of laundry i assure you. not red, not pink, not any normal color, but a beige bra, a nude bra, a white lacey sleeve and the white stripes on a bathing suit top only, are grey. a deep metallix, bullet-if you will, grey.

is someone playing a trick on me? its too perfectly toned and evened to have been a casualty of the laundry forces..

also, for some advice, how can i fix this? because i now have nothing to wear under my light colored shirts with three dark colored bras. this is horrible, i am so very sad. i never wear grey. i only wore that bathing suit twice and now it must forever be retired in the basket of clothes only kept because of the occasional "yah, i might wear it again one day" notion. i want to cry.

help me.
