So lets give it up for the New Year...
Driving around the city.Woooo!
First of all Happy New Years to all my loves♥ I hope everyone an awesome year ahead. We all deserve it. New years resolutions...lets see I havn't really made any. Ha, to think of it I never really do. MMM lets recap the last few days. I guess it's easiest to start with Thursday. Jane & Sonia have been dying to take me and Dom to Russian Bklyn to show us where they grew up. We went to lunch & ate Russian food. It was scary cause we didn't understand the menu & for a picky eatter its not fun. But I got something that looked like wontons with cherries inside haha. Then we raided a chocolate store for russian chocs. Seriously though the best part of the day was getting peach tea & berry creapes at XO... soo good then hoooka afterwards. It was def a good experience. hmmm Friday I went to the mall with Dawn & ran into everyone & their mother. Seriously everyone I could have possibly have run into, I did. It was def convienient running into Julie & Jane cause we went to dinner. It was really nice actually. mmm let's see that night I went with Dawn & Reg to Mike's house where everyone decided it would be random and fun to drive to the city. Theres nothing like driving downtown with the music blasting & singing along to good music. We really didn't know what we wanted to do but a lot of the places we wanted to go to were closed. It was still a good time just walking around even though I lost all feeling in my fingers.
And now for New Years Eve. Umm celebrating in the city was def something everyone should do once in their life, even if its not in direct time square. Julies friend Manauve got a hotel room for us. It ended up being me, him, Julie and her friend Lisa. The hotel room had candles and champaign waiting for us. He did a fabulous job setting up. He even cut up parmagranates for our drinks. I think that fruit is my new obsession. We went to dinner at an italian restaurant then came back to lay down a bit before going out. We had a ton of wine...some not so good.. bleh. We decided to try and get to times square and go to the Manhattan Club where his friends were staying but due to the massive amounts of crowds we didnt make it far. We decided to buy some liquor and head back to the hotel before 12. We made it just in time for the ball to drop. We watched in the lobby then went up for drinks. We were gonna go out but we were honestly shot. His friend met us at our room and we went to the dinner but the site of food disgusted me. It was def an awesome night & I am go glad we did it. Which brings me to now...nothing like sweat pants+newyearsday+the twillight zone marathon.
