[Oh, bless Ayame's heart. He, as a kind cousin tried to brave the blizzards and head over to the hospital, just so he could get medicine for his poor sick cousin, Hatori. Unfortunately, that didn't go too well.

Here, the communicator clicks on and what do you see? You see a strong blizzard, first of all, which is probably the most obvious part. But ( Read more... )

This is exactly why you were supposed to wait for me!

[ MARCHING OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. No, he doesn't care that it's freezing out and snowing. AND HE WILL EVENTUALLY FIND HIS NII-SAN. ]

Nii-san, I can't believe you left without me. What were you thinking?

[ Kneeling down beside his brother and brushing the snow off him. ]

(OH LOOK, IT'S MY COUSIN. He runs to Yuki and kneels down next to him, unable to help that lovely cough as he quickly tries to brush the snow off of Ayame.)

[ Looks up, distracted from brushing off his dead brother. ]

Wh-What are you doing out here, Hatori?! You're sick!

I swear, all of you have gone insane today....

(He doesn't answer, save for a few coughs, but continues to brush the snow off of Ayame. Finally managing to get him out enough, he lays him on top of the snow and immediately checks for a pulse. He stays like this for a while.)

[ He watches Hatori intently. Because Hatori knows what he's doing. He'll make sure Nii-san is okay. But after a while, he feels like it's been a little too long. ]

...Hatori?

(He's still silent, still checking for that pulse or sign of life. It's after a few minutes of this silence that he finally without looking at Yuki.)

Yuki. I think it would be best if you went back inside.

Wh-Why? What's wrong, Hatori?

(He glances at Yuki for a second. Well, he can't keep it from him. He was seeing it, after all. He closes his eyes, his voice is quiet and soft--hard to hear over the wind.)

...Just as it gives the lives of those who were dead before coming here back, this place has a tendency of taking them away as well. I'm afraid your brother....(And here he has to pause for a bit.) falls under the latter of the two.

[ He needed to strain to hear what Hatori was saying, but... No. He'd heard those words correctly. Hadn't he? B-But.

No. Because his brother was too full of life to lie in the snow as a corpse. There wasn't any way he could picture his brother being anything but energetic and shouting in that annoying loud voice of his. ]

You idiot!

[ And he leans over his brother, his hands on either side of him. He's staring hard at him, because he has to get up. There's no way he'd ever die. Not from something like this. Yuki couldn't picture his brother dead. ]

You were supposed to wait for me! So why didn't you?!

[ And he punches the ground next to his brother, completely unrestrained. ]
