So William Winters got a job in CA before Shoji or I did...
(Well he has been working on that effort for a good bit longer than we have, but we live here now dammit.)
Shoji, sigh, is bored with me. Hell, I am bored with me too. And I am scared of being in his aunt's way, even though she's really nice. My social anxiety extends to anyone who isn't me, having sex with me, or four-legged and furry. It's quite pathetic.
But I can put on a really good game face and appear out-going if someone's giving me a paycheck to do it. So any potential employers out there should not hold this against me.
I miss Poster. I miss my friend Elizabeth. I miss being part of the cultural resistance and force for good in Baton Rouge. I miss having paychecks.
But Shoji did bring me the California general election voter guide today which is apparently mailed to every registered voter and it is one of the most impressive publications I have ever seen and makes me happy to be here.
I also finally checked my credit reports today for the first time ever and apparently I have a prime credit score. And 0 potentially negative items. Even though I filled out all those stupid credit card offers my freshman year in exchange for free phone cards to call Chris Landry with and even with my student loan debt. Also happily, I am not yet an identity theft victim. Amazing.
Ohh and Shoji also made a very tasty dinner. Thanks Love.
