IIHF - Worlds
I really really want to go. It should be plausible*. Sweden is not that far away. 40 minutes with the train and I could be in Malmö. Finland is are bit father away, but only like 1:30minutes with a plane. Not so bad.
I never watched a live hockey game before*. I would love to watch a nhl game in person, but that's not happening in the near future. I totally checked what plane tickets would cost to both the US and Canada, thinking next season 'here I come!'. But 1700USD for one way..
But with worlds I have a chance to see some of my favorite players play! In person! All on the same team!
I checked and if I wanted to go to Finland and see USA-CAN play it would cost me about 700USD in total (For the plane, hotel and game) Now if only I knew someone who wanted to go with me.
*If I had the money, but really who needs to pay rent in August?
