Oh craigslist!
I was bored/slightly lonely the other night, so I posted a boyfriend wanted ad. Here are a couple of somewhat amusing responses that I've received thus far....
1. Reading your ad made me wish I was single. A vegan woman who likes to bake. I'd be in heaven.
At least I have Daiya cheese to melt away the marital blues.
Hope you find a nice guy. I think there is a veggie dating site out there somewhere....
2. Hey Stranger,
I'm taking a break from drinking myself. I feels pretty good so far. Anyway, I'm not a vegan... I'm not even a vegetarian. I went vegetarian once for seven months years ago, and within that time I went vegan for two weeks. Being vegan for two weeks made me realize that I didn't want to spend my life reading labels like a lunatic every second of the day (or at least in my mind), and that I seriously love cheese. Anyway, I like to think I'm a pretty nice guy who believes that chivalry is not dead. I'm single, bike a lot, live in Chicago, and am too looking for a long-term relationship. I also don't have a peanut allergy, because I'm not a pussy.
