the idiot who had a go at me yesterday started a whole rant in her journal, about how stupid student yuppies are making this london bombing thing into a big deal, when the big deals were 9/11 and the Madrid bombings?
i cant belileve how quickly people judge others these days. i didnt say i didnt feel anything for the people affected by 9/11 or the madrid bombings. 9/11 terrified me. it made me realise what a shitty world the place is. the madrid bombings reinforced that. but you can't sit around hating the world. you just have to get on with it.
but when the bombings could have happened in a town where you spend a great deal of your time, and plan to spend some of your life living in, its gets to you a lot more. im sure people living in the leeds area feel the same. a terrorist linked to the bombings was arrested in road, that runs parellel to fabio. we've probably walked past that house before. its just freaked me out.
its not that i dont care about the other attacks. it just scares you more when it is right on your doorstep.
so, there, just a little explanation for anyone else who wanted to jump down my throat for my previous entry.
