This is like arguing with someone in the special olympics. Pointless.

If ONE, and ONLY ONE person ends up not buying a ticket because they downloaded the torrent on the internet, profit is reduced. Yes, it's theft.

Piracy is wrong, plain and simple. If people have an issue with piracy, they should write their software as freeware, or open source.

I'm not saying piracy is necessarily wrong or right. Studies on piracy prove both sides of the argument. I think it's one of those weird things that can be seen from many different angles, and they all be equally true and equally false. I downloaded Avatar to watch with my son because I can't afford to take him. After having seen it in the living room, I'm going to take him to the movie. That sort of thing apparently happens a lot ( ... )
