The generator and lawn mower are fixed on the same day. So the yard will be cut when the next hurricane hits and we have to pull the generator out to only use for the deep freezer a two fans. Ugh.
When I got back home for Gustav the heat was terrible. That fucking generator worked for three hours and fucked up. After that we tried the old one and it also gave us hope for an hour then crapped out. Finally my cousin let us have his when he went to stay with his son who got his electricity back way before we did. I LONG FOR UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC WIRES LIKE HIM.
Speaking of Johnny (the son) I heard his daughter, Ava, got enough money from her benefit and will be able to buy her speech device! She has Angelman syndrome.
