Happy New Year!
Yikes! How does time go so quickly!
Well, Happy New Year thirteen days late... Christmas was great, I'm now completely caught up on all the latest digital goodies (yay Dave! I'm lovin' the iTouch... although, it does make me want to switch to AT&T just so that I can have the iPhone!).
The Divine Miss had a very "Hannah Montana" Christmas... the entire bedroom ensemble and a variety of "fashion accessories". It appears as though my little lady has now developed her own sense of style and she's going for the mega-girly-girl look. Getting ready for school is interesting most mornings as she searches frantically for earrings to match her shoes, bracelets to match her purse. Several weeks before Christmas, she asked me to color her hair. PINK. Yes, I dyed it. Hair is hair, it grows back. As long as she's not piercing or tattooing anything, who am I to complain? Besides, if I quash harmless ways of expressing herself, she'll find other ways that I won't be too happy about later on. She's chosen blue for her next color so it's off to the style shop for the appropriate colors...
Oh, and speaking of Hannah Montana, did I mention that the Divine Miss saw her in concert last week? She, her BFF and another friend (along with a very brave and obviously patient Dad) went up for the Miley Cyrus / Jonas Brothers concert on the 8th. My daughter recently learned to text from her cellphone, so she sent me numerous texts and pics of the concert... so glad she had a blast!
I'll post pics and a longer entry later (friends only). Lots happening... it's going to be a good year.
