chronicle from a bathroom sink

two hopeful teenagers
unfamiliar in the ways of love
thrown recklessly together
in a grasp for pure intimacy
facades tossed aside with the clothes on the floor
inexperienced bodies intertwine in search of grace
caution thrown to the wind in the name of love
each taking risks motivated my unsurpassed trust
the newness of this feeling fades away
imperfect figures fitting together perfectly
curve for curve complimenting the other
riding the waves of pure happiness
holding close for a moment all else is forgotten
left only with the breathing of one another
the walls melt away and time ticks off into oblivion
nothing matters but the present moment
thoughts of anything but the bliss of this beautifully awkward connection slip away
love claws at reason to free all desire
eyed closed to savor every movement
now becoming so effortless and natural, one soul flowing carelessly into the other
no longer two separate beings but rather pieces of a greater whole
