Smackdown My Bitch Up

Well, the date went fantastically...we were out from 6pm to 6 in the morning!

I took her to see Pan's Labyrinth, which was cool as all hell. Then we just kinda hopped to different places, talking and having a great time.

Then she invited me over to her house and made out with another dude right in front of me. It was a house party, and I was guest number 7...that was a big red flag right there, but I went through with it anyway.

Sure, I was pretty upset at first, and I wasn't sure how I was going to handle it. It didn't so much upset me that she was with the other guy...it just pissed me off that she invited me over just to disrespect me. Also, I blew off the Medicine Show, which is a pretty big deal...and I blew off my best friend Sheila as well. I actually got into a fight with Shei over it, letting her know that I couldn't be there for her ALL the time, and that I needed time to do what I wanted as well. That's true, but I really got burned this time.

So I was trying all weekend to figure out how I'm going to handle things...my first impulse was to try to not care. After Angel, I've been making a conscious effort to not be so nice about things, and to not be a pussy when it comes to women, and to not be so giving as a whole. But the fact of the matter is that's just not who I am. I'm a sensitive guy who cares a lot about people...even people I probably shouldn't care about. I also have a pretty good sized ego, and I like attention...and I think that's why I got so upset.

So I decided to let go of the things I knew was coming from me, let her know about the things that upset me that were valid, and see where it went from there. She did apologize (even though she didn't have to), which made me feel better about things. The path I chose was a balance of who I was and who I want to be. Too much of either is wrong.

If it evolves into a friendship, that's cool...I wont be surprised if it doesn't, but that's cool too. I can only be myself, and be true to myself...and if anyone doesn't like it, well, I don't really need them around.

And I got to spend some time with some true friends, Sheila and Martin, as we attended a live TV taping of Smackdown and ECW! It was cool...King Booker ordered ZZ Top, who were in attendance, to kiss his royal boots!
