We're going to the CES to read your file. In about.. five minutes time. Do be ready.

[Private to Rose]
No one objected to my taking you to the CES. How's tomorrow for you?

[Private to Capa]
Doctor Crane doesn't want you reading his file. I apologize for the confusion.

You know, you're seriously impairing my ability to spend my time how I want to. [Namely lurking in his room.]

You can refuse and I can read your file separately if you'd prefer.

Tomorrow I have other plans. I'll be there shortly and you can join me, or I can take you again in a few days' time. Either way, I'll be reading your file today.

What a relief. I was beginning to worry.

[And Eames was at Crane's door in 5 minutes, as promised, and not a second before. He specifically waited until the appropriate time to knock on the door, not interested in the inmate's complaining about punctuality or eagerness. The warden carried a thin black briefcase which, with a rotating triplicate lock, housed both files at present. That was all it held, given his reluctance to trust Crane with much of anything still.]

Time to go, darling. [He cooed at the closed door with a grin.]

[Crane was just about at the door when he heard Eames' call. He stood still for a second, frowning to himself. He reminded himself that it was just how some people spoke, before opening the door, expression composed. Crane glanced down to see the briefcase that Eames was holding before greeting him. Eames had at least brough something. Maybe even what was really the file.]

You're very much on time. [Crane noticed these things.] And is that the real file?

I believe in punctuality. [He responded with a smile, granting a single nod to Crane's analysis. To the latter, he laughed a hint.] What? You think I'd throw some papers in a briefcase, bother you about joining me, and take you to the Enclosure just to confess it was a bit of scraps?

[Crane didn't like being mocked, but he also had to concede that Eames had a point. Not that he'd ever admit that.] I've heard of stranger things. Wardens can go to ridiculous lengths around here.

[Crane shrugged. That wasn't exactly a strong argument on his part. Time to change the subject.] Are we going or not?

"Your warden, perhaps. Given that I'm not a warden, I believe we're safe from that condition." [He offered another smile at Crane's insistence on leaving and nodded, backing away and swinging an arm out in encouragement of the inmate to lead the way. Or, at the very least, to accompany him. Eames did enjoy the other man's attitude, even if it was less easily to emphasize with than Fishcer's.] "Come along."

[Crane nodded at that. He had to admit, the fact that Eames wasn't quite his warden did make things easier. It wasn't necessarily more clear cut, but it was easier to accept Eames help considering the fact that Eames wasn't forced to be there.]

[Crane started to lead the way, making note of Eames encouraging him to do so.] I'm sure I'll get another warden soon enough. It'll be fantastic. [Crane's tone indicated that he clearly didn't think that it was all that fantastic.]

"You haven't been reassigned yet. What makes you think you will be soon?" [He asked sincerely. As soon as Crane began to lead the way, Eames stepped up beside him, meeting the other's man pace precisely. With a little more time, he could mimic Crane entirely, if it ever became necessary. Crane was not a project, per say, but he was someone Eames wanted to spend time with and to fix.]

[The warden waited a beat before his thought continued.] "If you were reassigned, would you be terribly offended if I offered?"
