On a more serious note (but just barely), I appreciated the bit of restraint Clark showed with Lex--making with the physical contact but putting no brute force behind it. The very palpable moment of almost kissage was also, as always, a nice touch. And as it turns out, Lionel does still serve some purpose, which apparently is to remind us again, some more, that Lexana was all about Clark.

Bedtime Stories: JARED SHOT HIS GIRLFRIEND IN THE FACE. So was that the Casting Spoiler that had everyone riled up a few weeks ago? This may sound bad, but I'm SO (happily) surprised she can act.
