Oh, FUCK. I was just going to talk to my MD about going back to 10mg from 5mg with the option to take another 5mg if the first isn't effective. Shit. At least we'll be up forever together?

It doesn't mean you can't have 10 mg (or 12.5 if you're taking the extended-release). The ultimate decision is up to your doctor for your individual situation. It just means that if the doctor gives it to a woman who's never used it before, it's better to start with 5 mg rather than 10 mg. I took it when I was having trouble sleeping right after my mother died, and the 10 mg dose literally knocked me out for 15 hours. Way longer that it was "supposed" to. If your doc wants to lower your dose, please talk to him or her--don't just accept it!
