JFC I feel like Grandpa Simpson
I ran into Rite Aid because I have cramps and forgot to bring or take any painkillers and they had a big stand of Reese's that said ONLY $0.99 and I kind of went O_O I remember when they were 20 cents. OK, I was really really small, but I remember. I distinctly remember when twinkies went from 25 cents to 30 cents because that was when I began my embezzling career. I was in first grade.
Then I came into the coffee shop to get a latte and do some work and I bumped into one of the semi-regulars and he said he went to NYC and he went to Jones Beach and I was like OH WOW I totally saw a lot of shows there. I think there was a place called The Pier. I saw the Smiths there. In like 1985. And he was like YOU SAW THE SMITHS. AND I WAS LIKE DUDE I AM OLD. :D
...and we wore an onion on our belts because that was the style at the time.
(Also please don't bother to tell me 40 isn't old. I know. I'm just having fun.)
