Summary:
I love you,
Even if the world is shaking,
Even if the sky is falling,
Even if the ground is breaking,
Even if I was left alone,
Even if you leave,
Even if he’s there,
Even if that beautiful smile isn’t mine anymore
-Just like the clock needles that will meet each other eventually, will we be able to meet each other someday?-
The place is beautiful.
The place is beautiful, calming, familiar yet unfamiliar.
He tilted his head and closed his eyes as he let the wind slapped his cheeks lightly, running through his soft hair and whispering unknown words to him. He inhaled as he lets the sun bathed him with its golden ray, illuminating every part of his figures. He loved this place, though he didn’t know where he was right now.
Suddenly, he felt a presence behind him, but surprisingly, he didn’t move an inch. He stayed in his position and let the person behind him to wrap a pair of strong arms around his lean waist. He didn’t know why, but his smile widened and he relaxed into the stranger’s embrace.
He felt the stranger breathe in his scent, low and husky chuckles followed suit, “Enjoying yourself?”
He wanted to say ‘yes’, but he just nodded because this feels too good to be true and he didn’t want this moment to disappear.
The stranger smiled (he can feel it), “I’m glad you like this place, Ky-”
Kuixian opened his eyes slowly when a piercing noise of alarm spun into his hearings before a big yawn escaped his lips. He sighed and reached for the alarm clock situated on the nightstand. He sleepily turned the alarm around so that he can look at the time and yawned again, it’s already 7….
Rubbing his eyes, Kuixian turned his body around and smiled sleepily as Zhou Mi hugged him closer, “…Mi… We have to wake up now…”
“Hmm…”
Kuixian chuckled as he half-heartedly squirmed in Zhou Mi’s grip, “…Really Mi… We have to wake up now… It’s time to go to the café…”
The older male whined, “But I wanna sleep more~ Let’s take a day-off today, please~”
“Mi, I know that you owned the café but you can’t be a lazy bum all the time,” Kuixian pushed himself up, “Besides, we already take a day-off yesterday. So, up, up,” he patted Zhou Mi’s butt, earning a sleepy groan from the older male.
“Fine, fine…” Zhou Mi sighed, “Just give me 5 more minutes please.”
The younger one smiled softly and kissed his forehead, “Sure.”
--
“Order up! Oh, Mi gege! Kuixian gege!”
“Hey, Henry,” Zhou Mi greeted the young waiter with a smile as he entered the café with Kuixian. They were half an hour late because Zhou Mi’s 5 minutes turned into 30 minutes (and the older male had to listen to Kuixian’s nag about ‘being a responsible adult’ all the way to the café).
“Victoria, give me something to eat, I’m hungry,” Kuixian said as he walked towards his work station and the said female quickly prepared him some coffee and scones.
“You didn’t get breakfast?”
The male huffed as he glared at a certain tall, lanky male, “That’s because some douche decided that sleeping is better than breakfast.”
Zhou Mi pouted as he back-hugged his younger lover, “Aww~ Kuixian! I’m so sorry love! To make it up to you, I’ll buy you a lot of food!”
The younger male continued munching his breakfast, contemplating about Zhou Mi’s offer before an evil imaginary bulb popped on his head, “You’ll buy me a lot of food?”
“Yes!”
“That means I can get whatever I want to eat all the time, right?”
“Yep!”
“Then, that’ll mean, all your money will be spent for MY food and not YOUR clothes, shoes and accessories, right?”
“Yes-Huh?”
“Good! If you buy me whatever I wanted to eat for one month, then apology accepted.”
Zhou Mi gawked in surprise as Victoria and Henry and some of the customers giggled at the couple while Kuixian happily eats his scones. He should’ve expected this but that doesn’t mean he’s mentally and physically prepared. Kuixian knows his love for branded clothes, shoes and accessories and at least twice a month, he’ll buy new ones for him and Kuixian.
“Agree?” Kuixian asked as he crossed his hands on his chest, already facing Zhou Mi with a smirk on his handsome face.
The older male pouted childishly, bye, bye, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and other brands that I love but not as much as I love this evilly adorable male, “Fine…”
Kuixian smiled, all sweet and cute, “Good!”
--
“Hyung, hyung! Let’s go eat ice-cream!!”
Donghae looked up from his book and stared at Kyuhyun as if the younger one just grew another head. After staring at Kyuhyun’s beaming face for a good minute, he blinked before turning his head to the window and like he had figured out, it was snowing outside.
“Kyuhyun, it’s winter.”
“Yeah.”
“And there’s snow.”
“Mhm-hmm,” the younger one hummed in reply as he pulled Donghae up and went to the closet to get their winter coats and mufflers.
“And it’s….winter?”
“Yep, it is, hyung,” Kyuhyun said as he gets into his coat before helping Donghae into his and wrapped a red muffler around his neck.
“And…it’s really cold…”
“Yep!” Kyuhyun grinned as he put on his winter hat and pulled Donghae’s hand to the door.
“And…you want ice-cream…” Donghae said as he looked at Kyuhyun quizzically.
“Bingo!” Kyuhyun said cheerily and pulled Donghae out the house and went to the nearest ice-cream stall.
Donghae smiled as Kyuhyun was pondering on what flavor he wanted today. Ice-cream is one of Kyuhyun’s favorite foods and though this is not the first time Kyuhyun asked for ice-cream in the middle of winter, Donghae was still baffled whenever Kyuhyun’s crave for ice-cream came on winter.
He watched silently as Kyuhyun’s lips curled into a small pout, eyes scanning the various ice-cream flavors. This side of Kyuhyun is very rare; the cute side. It happens very rare but when it happens, it usually involves of Kyuhyun whining and being all clingy.
“I want chocolate and vanilla!” Kyuhyun said finally and Donghae nodded as he paid for the ice-cream.
“Aren’t you cold?” Donghae asked as they walked away from the stall. Kyuhyun was licking his new treats and he shook his head happily, “Nah, I’m fine!”
Donghae chuckled and stopped walking; bringing Kyuhyun into a stop too. The younger one’s brows were raised in confusion, but he was still licking his ice-cream. He smiled and pulled off his muffler to wrap it around Kyuhyun’s pale neck.
“Wh-Hyung! That’s yours!” Kyuhyun exclaimed, eyes blinking rapidly as he tried to stop Donghae.
The older one shook his head slowly, “I think you need it more. Look, your nose is red,” he pinched Kyuhyun’s nose, “It’s cute.”
Kyuhyun blushed heavily and buried his face into the scarf, and though he managed to cover half of his face, Donghae could still see the red blush on Kyuhyun’s face. Before Donghae could tease him further, Kyuhyun turned around and walked away quickly, “You’re being stupid and cheesy, hyung.”
Donghae laughed, “You’re the cutest person ever, Cho Kyuhyun!!” he yelled loudly and managed to get a ‘shut up, idiot!’ from a red-faced Kyuhyun.
“You’re up early.”
Donghae stopped toweling his hair to look at Heechul who just woke up. He shrugged and continued toweling his hair, “I always wake up early. To jog.”
You never wake up early, Donghae felt Heechul wanted say but the older male decided not to. He put on a white shirt and walked towards his desk to finish his work.
“Aish… You’re doing that so early in the morning?” he heard Heechul grumbled and Donghae chuckled, “It’s 10 and I need to finish my work, Heechul hyung. I’m not the boss.”
“But your best friend is,” Heechul said and Donghae could feel the pout coming from the older male. He ignored Heechul and turned on his laptop while sipping a cup of coffee.
“I’m hungry,” Heechul whined.
Donghae rolled his eyes, “Go get a room service.”
“But I’m too lazy to move from this bed… Call them for me?” Heechul batted his lashes, an attempt to make Donghae do his favors. The younger one snorted, “No thanks.”
“You’re an evil dongsaeng,” Heechul muttered and before Donghae could shot back, Heechul’s phone rang. Donghae turned his head towards Heechul and from the grin on the Kim heir’s face, Donghae knew who the caller is.
“Chaerinnie~!!”
Donghae shook his head before focusing to his work. He knew Heechul knew that he lied about going to jog but the older male decided not to say anything about it. He actually couldn’t sleep last night and went out smoking.
It was a routine for Donghae. Every night, the dream of that person would haunt him, keeping him awake, always at the same time, 2.34 AM. He always couldn’t sleep after that hour and end up smoking to release his frustration.
“Donghae-ah!”
Donghae snapped from his reverie upon hearing his name, “What is it, hyung?” he answered, not looking at the older male.
“Chaerin asked if you want to go eat breakfast with her and that monkey.”
Donghae’s typing came to a halt for a moment before he resumed, “Nah, I’ll pass. I already ate.”
Heechul was staring, he knew that. The older male’s eyes bore into his head and Donghae knew why. He heard Heechul sighed softly, “You know… Even though I love Chaerin… But it’s not her fault.”
The typing stopped completely and there’s a tense silence between the two males. Donghae knew he was acting like a kid right now, not being able to let go of the past, not being able to forget. But is that his fault? It doesn’t make sense to forget about someone who is part-no, who is his whole life.
“….I know…”
“Then, can’t you… You know… With her? You guys used to be best friends….”
“….I don’t…” Donghae sighed, “I don’t think I can do that just yet, hyung. Sorry.”
Why can’t you? Donghae felt Heechul wanted to say but instead an “Okay. Take your time,” came out from the older male’s lips.
Donghae felt like kicking himself.
--
“Order up!!”
It was a busy day for Indulgence. There were a lot of customers coming in and while Henry, Victoria, Kuixian and Hangeng busied themselves with the customers, Zhou Mi is sulking.
“MOVE AWAY, MOVE AWAY!”
“WHAT THE-ZHOU MI! GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!”
“DON’T MIND THAT DUDE, GET YOUR ORDERS!”
“Kuixian….” Zhou Mi pouted despite the yells coming from Henry, Victoria and Hangeng. He knew he had agreed with Kuixian’s request, but he wished the younger male would be kind enough to take it back.
But he should’ve known better because this is Kuixian we’re talking about.
“Can’t you take it back? I mean, I’ll buy you foods and new clothes. Wouldn’t that be better?” Zhou Mi said and walked towards Kuixian before sitting on a stool situated behind the younger one but Kuixian continued to ignore him.
“Have a good day, ma’am,” the younger male smiled at the customer, as if there’s no sulking male behind him right now.
“Kuixian! You know I can’t live without buying new clothes, right? I mean, it’s the same as you and foods-”
Zhou Mi’s words were cut off when Kuixian made a whistling sound, “Henry, your orders are here!”
“Okay!” the younger one replied as he skated over Kuixian’s workplace. His eyes caught with Zhou Mi’s pleading ones and Henry sighed, “Uh… Kuixian gege… Don’t you think you’re being too hard on Mi ge-”
“Henry,” Kuixian cuts him off with a too wide smile, “Don’t you have orders to be delivered?” And both Henry and Zhou Mi swore they saw something evil coming out from the smiling male.
“O-Okay…” Henry squeaked out in fear and as he skated away from the demon Kuixian, he could only smile apologetically at Zhou Mi.
Zhou Mi pouted at the retreating waiter, “Kuixian~ Don’t do this to me please~”
“What can I get for you, miss?” Kuixian asked a female customer, still ignoring Zhou Mi.
“Why can’t I use my money to buy things that I like?”
“Your order will be ready in a minute.”
“I mean, I didn’t buy it for myself only! It’s for us!”
“Here’s your latte, miss.”
“You’re so selfish, Kuixian! Didn’t you love me?”
“Thank you and have a good day.”
“Aish, you’re acting like a girl, Kuixian!!”
Silence.
Kuixian grinned at his new customers, a young couple, “Please excuse me for a while.”
And when he turned around 180 degrees sharp and faced Zhou Mi, the smile grew wider and the older male felt something ominous coming from Kuixian and surrounding him when the younger one said,
“Oh my, what a big bug we have here.”
EEEEKK!! HE’S SO SCARY!! Zhou Mi thought in panic when Kuixian grabbed his head and the ominous aura grew stronger that Zhou Mi felt like the younger one would swallow him alive.
“Now, now, Mr. Bug,” Kuixian started with an eerily-looking smile, “Would you kindly get the fuck out of my work station so that I can do my work with ease? Because you see, you’re being so fucking annoying right now,” the smile disappeared in a second and Kuixian’s eyes darkened, “and I might have to get rid of you in the scariest way you can imagine.”
There was silence in the café as everyone watched the couple. This is not the first time for them and they had even watched the worst case scenario (that involve Kuixian screaming at Zhou Mi in anger before throwing things at the older male and running away from the café) and they pretty much used to it. Besides, it was a part of their amusement.
Zhou Mi gulped thickly and nodded rapidly which Kuixian replied with another too wide smile, “Good boy. Now scram,” his tone went an octave lower at the last sentence and Zhou Mi squeaked as he abruptly stands up and rushed towards his office before stopping mid-way to turn around and give his boyfriend a peck on his cheek.
Kuixian sighed as he watches Zhou Mi entered his office silently. He’s not angry with the older male at all, it’s just it’s a busy day and Zhou Mi is being a nuisance and Kuixian didn’t like it when people disturb him while he was working.
“Stupid…” he muttered silently as he unconsciously stroked his cheek; where Zhou Mi had placed a kiss on.
And the others swear they saw a faint smile on the barista’s lips and a faint red on his cheeks.
--
“Kyuhyunnie~ I’m sorry~!!”
Donghae pleaded as he tried to catch up Kyuhyun’s fast paces. Yes, he is strong and athletic but Kyuhyun’s long legs (that Donghae loves) gave the younger one an advantage as well. Besides, they’re in a mall and it’s crowded with people that restricted Donghae’s movement.
It was supposed to be a great date for them, until Donghae realized he had forgot about their 1 year anniversary which is two weeks from now.
“I can’t believe you forgot our anniversary!” Kyuhyun bite out while running away from Donghae.
The older one sighed in frustration because people kept bumping to him. When he’s getting closer to Kyuhyun, he grabbed the younger’s wrist and stopped his movement, “Kyu…”
“Let me go! I hate you, hyung!”
Donghae lets out another sigh before turning the younger one around so that they’re facing each other, “I’m so sorry, Kyuhyun-ah… I didn’t mean to forget about our anniversary. It’s just…. Gosh, I’m so sorry…”
“No!” Kyuhyun said stubbornly as he jerked his hand from Donghae, “I’m fine that you forgot our anniversary, but I can’t believe that you planned to go Mokpo with your friends on that same day!”
“But I-I… I promised them… They had been bugging me about it… I want to bring you along but the others said they wanted to spend more time with me and if you’re there with us, they said I probably spend more time being lovey-dovey with you,” Donghae tried to explain. He even thought Kyuhyun probably want to hang out with his friends Changmin and Minho on that day.
“But it’s our anniversary!”
“I know, I know! But-But I-” Donghae was loss at words. Yes, he loves Kyuhyun even more than his life, but his friends are also important. He didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship just because he has a lover now.
“That’s it! I don’t want to see your face anymore!” Donghae gaped as the younger one turned around and stomped away from him.
WHAT!?
Donghae was in the state of shock for 10 minutes before realization hits him, “Kyuhyun!”
God, Jungsu hyung’s going to kill me if he finds out about this, Donghae thought as his worried eyes tried to find his lover. Park Jungsu is their friend, a senior and Kyuhyun’s self-proclaimed umma/guardian. Jungsu is very motherly when it comes to Kyuhyun since he cares for the younger one deeply. No matter how much Kyuhyun barks out snarky comments at him (accidentally of course), Jungsu’s deep care towards Kyuhyun never falters even one bit. And even though he’s nicknamed angel because of his pure and kind heart, if something bad happened to his precious Kyuhyunnie, he’ll make sure to hunt down anyone who had hurt Kyuhyun.
And it seems like Donghae is his next victim.
Truth is, Jungsu didn’t approve their relationship at all (though he didn’t say object to their relationship verbally, but Donghae just knew). He didn’t like the fact that someone like Donghae (and what was that supposed to mean is still a mystery to Donghae) is dating his precious baby Kyuhyunnie. There’s always a glare in his eyes whenever he sees Donghae and the glare would darkens whenever Donghae is being affectionate towards Kyuhyun.
Oh god he’s going to make it slow and painful when he kills me, the dancer thought in panic when he couldn’t find Kyuhyun. He tried to call the younger one but was left unanswered.
“Let me go!!”
Donghae’s head snapped towards the voice; Kyuhyun’s voice. His eyes widened at the sight of Kyuhyun being harassed by two strangers. One of the strangers has his hand around Kyuhyun’s waist as he held Kyuhyun flushed against his body. Donghae felt anger bubbled up inside him at seeing his Kyuhyun in the hands of other male. Without thinking anything else, he went towards the trio and pulled Kyuhyun towards him, eyes glaring daggers towards the two males.
“Fuck off, he’s mine.”
Fears flashed through their eyes and Donghae growled at them darkly when they didn’t make the attempt to leave. Eyes widened at Donghae’s dark and threatening look, the two strangers hastily leave the two of them.
“….Hae…” Kyuhyun’s soft voice brought him back to reality and Donghae turned to look at Kyuhyun. The younger one was biting his lips, guilt scrawled all over his beautiful face. The anger evaporated and Donghae smiled softly, “Are you okay?”
“…I’m sorry…” Kyuhyun voice out as tears started to roll down his cheeks, “I’m sorry for acting like an idiot. I should’ve understood your feelings. I’m so sorry, Hae….”
Donghae lets out a soft sigh as he wiped the tears with his thumbs. He cupped Kyuhyun’s cheeks and lifted the younger one’s face so that they can look at each other, “No… I’m the one who should apologize. It’s my fault for forgetting. I’m sorry… I’ll make it up to you.”
Kyuhyun shook his head and held Donghae’s big hands, “It’s okay… You can go with your friends. Besides, I haven’t hanged out with Changmin and Minho for quite a while now, so it’s okay.”
“But, Kyuhyun….”
“I’m fine, hyung,” Kyuhyun smiled, “It’s just an anniversary. You love me and I love you and that should be plenty.”
Donghae’s heart warmed up at hearing Kyuhyun’s words. No matter how stubborn, snarky and evil Kyuhyun is, the younger one has a gold heart. He felt lucky that he was blessed with this wonderful beauty.
Then an idea popped in his mind, “Hey Kyuhyun-ah… I have an idea.”
Kyuhyun’s head tilted to the side in question and Donghae continued with excitement, “Let’s go to Mokpo with together. We can go there a bit early with the other guys and on the D-Day we can ditch them and celebrate our anniversary.”
“At Mokpo?” Kyuhyun asked and Donghae nodded.
“Let’s meet my mother and ask for her blessing.”
Puffs of smoke drifted into the air. Donghae sighed and wrapped his lips around the cigarette and inhaled once more, before tossing it to the ground and crushing it with the heel of his shoe. It’s almost 4 in the morning and that’s the last cigarette of his pack.
Looks like I have to buy another pack, Donghae thought silently though he didn’t know how he’s going to do that when Heechul is around. He pressed the ball of his palm to his eye at the thought of his friend and the words Heechul said yesterday.
“You guys used to be best friends….”
Yes, we used to be best friends, Donghae repeated in his mind. He remembers the days he spent playing with Chaerin, laughing together with no worries. He loves Chaerin, still until now, and he already stopped blaming the younger female for what had happened.
And yet, he still couldn’t bring himself to look at her.
Donghae felt his head pounded, this is fucked up, I need more cigarettes…
He was about to make his way to the nearest store when his phone rang, causing him to jump in surprise. He took out his phone and his mind already makes up a few lies for Heechul because he knew it’s Heechul, but his movement came to a halt and his eyes widened.
“Umma…?” he breathes out and stared at the screen of his phone. He hesitated in answering the call and was about to ignore the call when the image of his mother, smiling at him with that soft and comforting smile came to his mind.
“…Hello?”
“Donghae…?” Donghae’s heart throbbed at hearing his mother’s frail voice.
“…Umma…”
--
“Kuixian, come here for a moment!”
After thanking the customer, Kuixian went towards Hangeng with a questioning look, “What is it?”
“I need you to deliver this,” the baker said as he handed Kuixian a big light pink paper bag with the logo of their café printed on it. The younger male looked inside the paper bag and saw a white box with pink ribbon tied around it.
“Where are Henry and Mi?” Kuixian asked because usually Zhou Mi and Henry would be the ones to deliver called orders.
“Henry had to stay because his friends are going to come here to celebrate one of his friends’ birthday and Mi is busy,” Hangeng simply answered as he scribbled something on a paper, “Here’s the address. Don’t go anywhere else. You know Mi will get a panic attack if you’re missing, right?”
Kuixian chuckled at the words while taking the paper from the smirking Hangeng, “Got it, ge.”
--
“Remember Donghae-ah, you have so many people around you who care about you, who love you. Don’t do this to yourself, dear… I’m sure… He…He didn’t want to see you like this…”
Donghae stared to nothingness as he wears his tie. His mother’s words from their conversation earlier still ring in his head, over and over again. He jumped when Heechul suddenly patted his shoulder, cutting him off from his train of thoughts.
“Let’s go,” the older male said as he fixed his hair for the last time. Putting on his black suit, Donghae followed Heechul towards the door of their suite, pushing his mother’s words and the painful memories behind and put on the cool façade he had been wearing for the past three years.
--
“KUIXIAN!! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE~!!”
Kuixian giggled at Zhou Mi’s antics. He was on his way to the café after delivering the cake for a young boy’s birthday party. It had been an hour and half because the young boy insisted Kuixian to stay for awhile as a thank you for the beautiful cake (even though the cake was made by Hangeng).
“Oh come on, Mi. You have Henry, Victoria and Hangeng gege with you.”
“But I want you~! All of them ignored me because Henry’s friends are here.”
“Then, why don’t you go and meet with Henry’s friends?” the younger one asked with a smile on his face.
“I don’t want to….” He could feel Zhou Mi’s pout, “Henry’s friends look like a group of nerd-Ouch!”
“Don’t talk badly about my friends, ge!”
Kuixian laughed loudly at this and Zhou Mi whined, “Kuixian~ Hurry up and come back at the café. I’m bored~”
“I’m on my way, Mi… Be patient will you?” he reprimanded the older male lightly. No matter how much Zhou Mi whined or acted like a kid, he’s very serious and mature when it comes to his job. Kuixian knows Zhou Mi could drive and pick him up right now, but because of his work, he couldn’t.
“Okay…. Hurry up, okay?”
“Yes, yes~” Kuixian grinned.
--
Donghae listened in silence at the words of one of his clients. He, Heechul and Hyukjae (Heechul couldn’t object to this because Hyukjae is needed) were at a restaurant, discussing about one of their projects in China with their clients.
The meeting was running smoothly and when they were ordering for foods, Donghae excused himself to the bathroom.
Donghae sighed as soon as he arrived at the bathroom. His body felt tired from the lack of his sleep and Donghae wished he can go back to the suite to get some sleep. He washed his hands slowly when his mother’s words came back ringing in his head.
“I’m sure… He…He didn’t want to see you like this…”
Donghae stopped his movement and stared at his reflection on the mirror. He looks fine and normal from the outside but for people who had been with him since forever (like Heechul, Hyukjae, Chaerin and the others) they would notice the empty eyes and the lack of smile.
Even though he can cover up his eye-bags, his chapped lips, his sunken cheeks and pretend that he’s fine, the emptiness and loneliness in him are still there, growing and eating him from the inside.
“I’m jealous of you, hyung. You can always stand up and smile brightly no matter how much you fall. I like that side of you.”
He gripped the sink tightly as his head pounded and the memories of him flooded into his head, bright, cute smile, twinkling eyes, velvety voice, and Donghae felt like throwing up.
“Donghae hyung is so strong. I like Donghae hyung for being so strong.”
“Damn…” Donghae cursed softly and gripped the sink tighter until his knuckles turned white, “…Fuck this…”
--
“Okay Mi, I love you too. Bye~” Kuixian smiled as he ended the call with Zhou Mi. He suddenly felt hungry and his eyes darted on a restaurant right across the street he was standing at.
I guess Mi will be fine if he has to wait for another 10 minutes extra, the young barista thought cheekily as he waited for the light to turn red.
--
“We ordered for you, is that fine?” Heechul said as Donghae took his seat. The younger one nodded in reply and Heechul’s eyes caught Donghae’s slightly red eyes.
“Hae? Are you okay?” Heechul asked softly in Korean, not wanting his clients to hear their conversation.
“Yeah hyung, I’m fine… I’m just tired, that’s all,” Donghae answered smoothly and when Heechul wanted to press into the matter further, Hyukjae stopped him with a look.
Sighing, Heechul nodded in reply before answering a question his client had asked him.
Donghae started to relax after Heechul and Hyukjae got engaged in a light conversation with the clients. He paid little attention towards the conversation as he’s not in the mood right now but he still smiles and nods at every words that were said, even though his mind was somewhere else.
--
Kuixian entered the restaurant with a smile because as soon as he steps into restaurant, his nostrils were attacked by delicious smelling foods. His stomach growled softly and Kuixian quickly went to order his food since he didn’t want to let Zhou Mi wait for him longer.
Who knows what kind of childish tantrum he’ll throw if I’m late, the young male thought as he silently scanned the menu.
--
It’s been about 6 minutes and Donghae was beyond bored. The others were still conversing with each other and Donghae had finished his drink for the second time. He wanted to pour himself another glass but decided against it.
Leaning back against the seat, Donghae mindlessly let his eyes wander around the restaurant. He watched the people in the restaurant with bored eyes….
…until his eyes caught on a familiar figure.
--
“Please come again.”
Kuixian smiled at the waitress while nodding at her words. He then turned around and makes his way out the restaurant, while happily humming to a song.
--
Donghae stood up abruptly when the figure walked out the door, starling Heechul, Hyukjae and their clients.
No way…
“Donghae?” Donghae heard Hyukjae asked, but he wasn’t sure. He felt like his ears were being covered so that he couldn’t hear anything but nostalgic laughter.
Kyuhyun…
