Day 22: 32k

Works in Progress. How many do you have total? How many are you actually working on? If you only work on one at a time, what do you do if you get another plot idea?

I need to finish Things Not Written, formally I-don't-even-know, for novel_bigbang, transcribe the rest of Taste the Day for fantasybigbang (and stop thinking about the sequel), and catch up on this ( Read more... )

I have four WIP right now. Technically two of them are joint projects. A third is in a third draft stage. The fourth is tentative and I haven't done much work on it. If I get a new idea while I have all these other projects going I write it down and put it aside for later. If it's really powerful than it might replace a weaker project. It just sort of depends. I work on two at a time, usually, though I try not to overload myself.

Oh, yes, I forgot you were awesome and had multiple drafts of projects. Not overloading yourself sounds like a very good idea. I shall have to try that ;P

I've got
-a gazillion WIP (or maybe just five that I've actually started)
-two with a beta (one of which is still in progress)
-three sequels that I really wanted to get started on
-three plots I've been tossing around
-six+ plot ideas trying to flot to the surface

I guess, technically, I'm only working on finishing the novel_bigbang and something else at the moment, but my document of plotty things is getting out of hand.
