Surprise! I didn't die after Nano. I've just been very lazy, I mean busy. Very, very busy. With life. Yeah... Well now that I'm not so 'busy' anymore, I thought I'd get back into this whole livejournal thing. So, I joined novel_bigbang. I'm really excited and think other people should join too! For authors the minimum word count is 20k and you have until like the end of June to complete a rough draft (you know you can do it; you know you want to). Also, they say they especially need artists, so check it out. They consider podcast, fanmixes, etc as art too if that helps. (Quick question: what is a fanmix? I want to know if I want one). What I'm Going to Write About: A dhampir, some vampires, and maybe some sorcerers and witches.
Genre: Dark Fantasy, possibly some Slash
Anything Special: blood, gore, and old-fashioned folkloric vampires
That's right. Vampires! It's happening. Brace yourself. I've already written the first chapter (3k!). Have I mentioned I'm really excited about this? Have I? Cause I am. Really excited. The slash does look like a no show. I don't think there's going to be any romance in this, but dark fantasy isn't usually my thing anyway, so this will be a completely new type of story for me.
