So. Exams have arrived. Or finals, what have you. Naturally, the best use of my time is to create a compendium. Ha, semester two has arrived! Anyway: I'm not calling this a rec list, per se, because a lot of these stories are extremely well known. The point of this is to give myself, (and you guys), an easy way of finding both excellent new stories and your old favourites.
You probably won't find anything hugely kinky, here, (bdsm, gun play, blood play, etc), because it's just not my cup of tea, personally. There won't be any links to WIPs, and you will find no character bashing within these fics - haters to the left. There will be no death fic. Ever. No, seriously. Some of the summaries are written by me, because I'm a masochist trying to jog my own memory, but some of them are written by the authors - those will be in quotation marks.
HOW IT WORKS: Stories are sorted alphabetically. New stories will be listed on the end page for a month, before being moved to their homes in the alphabet. Stories are tagged with #themes, so you can do a simple Command+F word search. You can also search by rating: General, Teen, Mature, Explicit. All stories over 10,000 words are tagged with #lengthy. (Please note: I misuse the tag #fluff. For some reason I didn't use a #romance tag, so fluff is quite often not diabetic inducing sugar, but rather just something sweet/happy/romantic).
What could possibly go wrong. (But seriously, guys, if anybody objects to their fic being here, please let me know and I will edit/delete). A big thank you to evanscakes, wildandwild and killerkanima for allowing me to use their lovely gifs.
Comments, queries, tag suggestions and notifications are happily accepted. So. Exams have arrived. Or finals, what have you. Naturally, the best use of my time is to create a compendium. Ha, semester two has arrived! Anyway: I'm not calling this a rec list, per se, because a lot of these stories are extremely well known. The point of this is to give myself, (and you guys), an easy way of finding both excellent new stories and your old favourites.
You probably won't find anything hugely kinky, here, (bdsm, gun play, blood play, etc), because it's just not my cup of tea, personally. There won't be any links to WIPs, and you will find no character bashing within these fics - haters to the left. There will be no death fic. Ever. No, seriously. Some of the summaries are written by me, because I'm a masochist trying to jog my own memory, but some of them are written by the authors - those will be in quotation marks.
HOW IT WORKS: Stories are sorted alphabetically. New stories will be listed on the end page for a month, before being moved to their homes in the alphabet. Stories are tagged with #themes, so you can do a simple Command+F word search. You can also search by rating: General, Teen, Mature, Explicit. All stories over 10,000 words are tagged with #lengthy. (Please note: I misuse the tag #fluff. For some reason I didn't use a #romance tag, so fluff is quite often not diabetic inducing sugar, but rather just something sweet/happy/romantic).
