I was scrolling way back on my friends page to see if I missed any reply comments, and ran across this total gem, linked my new buddy to it as a warning. And then I remembered I never shared this gem from shopping last week, coz I'm way too flakey to make it

Aaaaaaah, small children and technology.

My favorite small-child stories both have to do with my best friend's little brothers, aged seven and five. I lived with them for almost a year - best year of my life, so far.

First one with the five-year-old. He was going as Harry Potter for Halloween. So he decided that he WAS Harry Potter all of the time and all of us (the family + me) were going to be other characters. I was Hermione. And he was apparently a Harry/Hermione shipper, because one day he turned to me and said "Hermione, will you marry me?"

How could I say no? We're still engaged. XD

Second one just because it made me happy inside... I lived with them for a year after a big blow up with my family because I got outed as a lesbian. OOOOOH joy. Anyway, this girl, Alex, she's my sister every way but legally and biologically, and I adored her mom. I'd only been living there about three months when I went with them on a field trip for the boys' homeschool group. And Griffin, the 7-year-old, was talking to some of his friends, and one of them asked who I was, and he said "Oh that's Evie. She's my other sister, she lives with us now."

Needless to say, that made my month.

LOL! Ron/Hermione is where it's really at. Even Hez knows this. She's Ginny totally waiting for Harry to come back for her.

And who's Luther?

Luther's... one of two people. First, he's the actor in the icon. Luther Creek, ensemble member of the Rent Broadway cast, my favorite Roger, and (according to Aubrey, who saw him u/s for Mark last night) the best Mark ever.

He's ALSO a character over at Desperatemusic, PB'd by Luther Creek because he's based on the version of "The Man" (the drug dealer) that Luther plays in Rent. And because Aubrey and I are uncreative with names. XD
