Let me tell you a story.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Erica. And she was very confused. Ever since she was little she'd been trying to figgure out the world. One day Erica was sad. Erica was sad for a long time. But Erica survived because...well, she doesn't know why. But she made it through, herself. One day Erica met a girl named Molly. And they are very happy together, and they went through plenty of bad stuff together, and they have grown together. And now Erica sees that being happy is give-and-take. You have to take some chances and take some first steps to get anything back. She realized people are a lot more fun than she thought. And the world is a lot more friendly than she'd imagined, even if she has to say hi first. Erica hopes she can stay happy for a long time yet to come and that everybody else can too.

Edit: Erica still gets confused sometimes though and wishes she could pelt people with questions without sounding like an idiot ^_^
