Ah- this keeps coming up.

We have two versions of Amestris represented in the City. One version followed the path that you and I remember, another seems to have diverged around the time that the Colonel was reassigned to Central. The Edward that is here may not remember you, and the Alphonse here...definitely will not. Both of them are from the other version. Lust, as you may have guessed, is from our version of Amestris, as are a number of others. I can let you know who is here if you care to know.

The people from the other version of Amestris are most easily thought of as the same people who have gone through a different set of experiences as the ones that we have gone through.

Barry was there when we fought Lust?

My apologies for the misunderstanding.

Barry was not there for the fight with Lust that happened in the City.

He was, however, present for the last half of the fight against Lust that occurred in my version of Amestris, Colonel, since it was his body that led us to the location of the fight.

You came to the fight along with myself, Second Lieutenant Havoc, and Alphonse Elric.

We split up into pairs, myself and Alphonse, and yourself and the Second Lieutenant.

Barry's physical body had been used partially as a lure to figure out where the homunculus were operating from, so we followed him as he chased his body back to the lab. Lust knocked him apart after she fought you.
