I think if people realized how close they were to death all the time, they'd be too scared to even leave their rooms.

Naw, it's the people that realize it and go out anyways that're the strong ones, the ones who have the balls to go out and take the risks. If you can't leave your room out of fear, then you're a waste of space.

Dunno. These military guys from my world, they don't mess around. I'll probably just stay locked up wherever I am for a while.
