Room 416 [Thursday, Late Morning]

So, maybe going out to get coffee in town this morning had been a mistake. Mac was really just gauging this from the fact that she left the Perk a nice normal colour, and by the time she was ten feet from the door, she was a violent shade of purple. She was all for colourful, but not like this

Tosh was bored so she decided to go visit Mac and see if she might have any new modern technological suggestions for her. So she knocked on the door frame.

"Come in!" Mac said. Okay, she's still face down on her bed, but it's probably still audible.

[techno_tosh]

"Hello Mac," Tosh greeted with a smile. "How are you today?"

[imac_kenzie]

Mac obviously decided Tosh was someone she wanted to talk to, since she rolled over and sat up.

"Purple," she replied. "You?"

[techno_tosh]

"Oh." Tosh tilted her head curiously. "How did that happen? Just one of those strange occurrences that only seem to happen in this town?"

[imac_kenzie]

"Rocks from the sky," Mac replied with a wry smirk. "Yeah, it's one of the many joys of living in a town like this."

"I think it's fading a little, though," she added a little more hopefully.

[techno_tosh]

"Rocks from the sky," Tosh repeated, shaking her head slightly. "I'll try to remember that if I see any of those when I'm outside."

She gave her a small smile. "It's not a terrible look, though. Purple is a lovely color."

[imac_kenzie]

"I prefer my colour in my hair, rather than on my skin," Mac said simply. "But, yeah, I suggest a raincoat, or an umbrella if you're planning on leaving the dorms at any point."

[techno_tosh]

"Yes, I suppose it would be better in hair or painted on walls," Tosh said. "Umbrella is not a bad idea. Think the rain of rocks will end soon?"

[imac_kenzie]

"Probably," Mac replied with a reassuring smile. "Haven't known these things to last longer than a day or so."

"Oh, uh, you can come in and sit," she offered, realising she'd just left her visitor standing there.

[techno_tosh]

Tosh took a seat at Mac's desk. "Other than being purple, how have you been? Classes going well and all?"

[imac_kenzie]

"I think so," Mac replied, crossing her legs in front of her. "It's a little difficult to tell sometimes. I actually had to fight things for treasure last week."

It might be obvious that, that really isn't Mac's thing.

[techno_tosh]

"Well, I suppose it's good to learn those sorts of skills." Tosh was shaking her head, though. "The classes here are rather interesting and never boring."

[imac_kenzie]

Mac laughed, and shook her head. "Never," she said.

"Are you enjoying yours?"

[techno_tosh]

"For the most part," Tosh said. "Though I still wonder how I ended up in the sex ed class."

[imac_kenzie]

"You're actually in that class?" Mac asked, arching an eyebrow. "Is it turning you celibate yet?"
