Mac was pointedly avoiding anything and everything Parent's Weekend related. Her family weren't coming, so why should she deal with the hoardes of people? She was really pretty glad she didn't have her shift in the library today.
She'd holed herself up in her room the moment people had started arriving, and hadn't left. She was happily playing Half Life 2 on her laptop, and half keeping an eye on Poe, rolling around in his ball on the floor as usual.
