Mac managed to spend most of her afternoon, trying to get clean again.

Cally had a box of vegan chocolates all wrapped up and stashed under her arm when she knocked on the door.

Mac immediately closed her laptop, stowing it on her desk before going to open the door.

She beamed brightly at Cally. "Hi," she said cheerfully, going to hug her. "Happy Valentines day."

"I did," she confirmed grinning a bit wider and jerking a thumb to the pot of roses on the shelf. "Thank you. So much."

She stepped back finally, holding the door open so that Cally could come in.
