Despite it being a rather unheard of event, Sirius managed to slide into his seat on time for Transfiguration. Several moments ahead of class start, in fact. Firstly, he didn't really want to lose any more House Points, no matter what cocky things he said. Secondly, he was in a good mood for the subject, having just had a really good bout of 'concentration' on the Animagism thing, something he'd temporarily forgotten about in the year's end rush. He even raised his hand to answer a few questions.
Of course, the truth was, all through the lesson, he concentrated less on the subject at hand, and more on imagining having big, fuzzy ears, or perhaps a spiky tail. And a little bit on how to conjure up a fake storm.
