I don't think you'll be waking up any time soon, man.

Not waking up? Oh, I get it. You're pulling my leg. Do you really expect me to believe that...

[Thinking that over a moment. Geez, did he have to say it like that? You've gone and scared him.] Maker's breath, I'm not- [Ermgh.] dead, am I?

Well, I don't think so... [But he knows dead people can be alive here, so.] Do you remember dying?

Of course not. But I certainly don't remember encountering any Fade spirit creatures either. Not recently at least.

And... who are you?

I'm Kurt Wagner. This place is Luceti. There's ah, no Fade spirits here that I know of.

Pleased to meet you, I'm Alistair.

So this ... isn't the Fade then? I'm not the best with geography but I've never heard of such a place. Is it even in Ferelden?

It wasn't in any of my geography classes either. It's, well, it's a different world.

You mean to say this isn't even Thedas? But how- Oohaha I get it, I get it. That's a good one. Different world. You really had me going there for a minute. I almost took you literally.

I did mean literally! Like, a whole different planet!

So you're not joking?

But then how is it that I got here? How you got here?

...

You know what, never mind. Something tells me I wouldn't want to know.

More importantly, how is it that I can get back?

[Voice] onebluebamf November 19 2010, 04:02:45 UTC
Ahhh, yeah, that's the thing. You don't. Not with trying, anyway. You're not stuck here forever, but... it could be a pretty long while, man.

Yes, naturally it wouldn't be that easy, would it? But what is a pretty long while? A week? A month? A few months? If I don't get back soon there may not be a Ferelden to return to.

I've heard some people have been here for years.

[Looong silence. He's just one person, his presence probably wouldn't make that big of a difference, right? Right?]

Maker watch over them.

[Deep breath.]

If we can't leave then there must be some sort of reason for it.

Yeah, so some stupid scientist guys can experiment on us.

[But he feels like he should mention something.]

About the people back home, ah, you don't need to worry about that, man. Time like, doesn't even move back there for them. When you do get home, it'll be like no time passed at all.
