Apocalypse - Chapter [1/?]

Sitting alone. The entire human race, nearly extinct. I know, their has to be, more humans out there. We just have to find them and start to fight back, but that's a lot harder than it sounds. The...the abominations, creatures, what ever they are, they're stronger, faster, more resistant against bullets or any other type of metal, the only way we have found out how to kill them is by setting them on fire, or shoving a wooden stack through there hearts. This all probable sounds very familiar, there has been legends and story's told through out time about a race of people called vampires, well in march 17 3014 a new gene was discovered and tested. This gene created what people used to call vampires, the people that got mutated by this gene thought they were the future human race, and started to change as many people they could before they got found out. By the time the police found out it was to late. The gene was spreading like a plague. The people who were still the 'old' race of humans made a run for it and started a rebellion, I was in my mothers womb when this happened, I shall tell you my mothers and fathers story's and followed by how I am now telling you my story and how the human race WILL get what was once there's. But as I said, I shall start with my mums side of the story and her account of the events that changes the world.
